Driving with AI Without Losing Control

There’s a lot of talk about how AI is transforming the investment industry. But we rarely hear about the two functions within your portfolio companies that have already undergone a shift: finance and payroll.

Thibault oversees outsourced finance departments. Lucile runs a firm specializing in auditing, consulting, and outsourced HR and payroll management. They work with dozens of small and medium-sized businesses and have automated part of their own operations before offering the same solutions to their clients.

What we’ll ask them:

→ what a CFO and an HR manager have actually stopped doing manually

→ what they still refuse to entrust to a machine, and why

→ whether reporting is faster now, or if it’s also more accurate

→ and where the company’s most sensitive data goes: payroll, contracts, the general ledger

For a fund, this is the most practical aspect of the topic. It’s what we examine during due diligence, and what we receive every month in the reports.
