About BODIC

Our story

The BODIC project began with the creation of Armen in 2022.

Armen is a mission-driven investment firm founded in 2022. Its funds invest in European alternative asset managers and support their growth through minority ownership transactions known as “GP Stakes”.

Armen co-developed the BODIC platform with OPT2A, the consulting firm of Antoine Jeanjean, starting in 2022.

In 2024, they decided to spin off the activity by creating Bodic SAS, in order to provide Armen’s tools and services to external users: Armen’s portfolio GPs, as well as any investment management firm looking to accelerate its digital transformation.

Armen Invest, the holding company of Armen SAS (a portfolio management company authorised by the Autorité des Marchés Financiers on 07/09/2022 under number GP-202222), has been a shareholder of Bodic SAS since its incorporation.

DOMINIQUE GAILLARD

Dominique Gaillard, Chairman of France Invest from 2018 to 2021, has over 30 years of experience in private equity.

He joined Ardian in 1997 and became Managing Director in 2014, while overseeing all direct funds. He was one of the architects of Ardian's success, which has become a multi-strategies platform with $120 billion under management, 850 employees and 15 offices worldwide.

LAURENT BENARD

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER - EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE -PARIS

17 years spent in building Capza, a private equity midsize platform active through six strategies with nearly €6bn of AUM.

Laurent joined CAPZA in 2004, after 4 years within Bank of Scotland's LBO department. He was quickly promoted through the ranks to Principal in 2007, Partner in 2008 and CEO in 2011. Laurent had a leading role in originating, executing and overseeing more than 30 transactions at CAPZA. Laurent has built and led CAPZA's Private Debt Franchise which has become the reference partner of top tier European private equities sponsors for mid-market financing with nearly 3bn assets under management.

My partners convinced me to invest in building a platform right from the start of Armen, because we wanted to capitalize on our past experience and set up a simple, practical, reliable, and consistent tool to carry out our operations.
